The team at TUFFA has been busy creating a new style of Out of Service Tuffa Tag. After receiving feedback from a variety of mine sites faced with a problem, we sat down and created a standard tag that has 2 parts to improve the procedure. The new Out of Service tag is the normal size (80 x 150mm), made from incredibly tough Raptor Poly and has a detachable 2nd part that is return to a supervisor.
This 2nd part will allow mine managers and supervisors be kept up to date about what machinery and equipment is out of service at 1 particular time. It provides management with more in-field knowledge about what each shift can and can’t do through up-to-date information.
